Cybersecurity is scary. And cybersecurity technology can be scarier, not to mention confusing and frustrating. The way cybersecurity companies talk about the “right” thing to do can be tech-y, unclear, or downright misleading to non-IT folks, especially regarding real differences in levels of protection, appropriate costs, implementation times and ongoing maintenance. Yet, what is clear is that every business needs protection from cyberattacks.
Enter StrongKey. We are taking nearly two decades of our founder's security innovations and bringing them to a market too-long ignored: small-to-medium sized businesses, individual practitioners, and local government. (At the current rate, it is more likely than not that an SMB will be hacked – 55% of SMBs were attacked in 2016!)
This is no small task, and at the beginning of our journey, we are looking for a product manager to help us address this ever-growing problem and begin to make the internet safer for people who need it. This is a unique opportunity for someone looking for a job with a high degree of autonomy and the ability to set strategic direction as we enter the scene and begin to secure small businesses. If you're tired of being lost in the crowd or feeling like you don't have the opportunity for personal impact, we think we could be a compelling place for you to work. And if you drool at the opportunity to collaboratively create something new, we want you on board.
